Richard Buday, FAIA
Richard is president of Archimage and founding principal of the firm’s predecessor, Buday Wells Architects. Immediately upon graduating Kent State University in 1977, he and his then bride of two days (now a bride of 30 years) loaded up a U-Haul and left Ohio heading south.

Jerald Reichstein, AIA
Jerald became the first hired hand at Archimage back in 1984 when, as a young architecture student, he was looking for some real world experience. Richard (the bossman) was 30 minutes late for the interview. Welcome to the real world.

Paul Patel
Paul is one in a billion (literally). He was born in India and moved to Michigan at the age of 14. His family thought it would be great to move from 100 degree days to below-zero temperatures. They quickly wised up and migrated to the south where they would be nice and toasty.

Melanie Mowry
Melanie grew up in the jungles of The Woodlands and acquired both a large collection of shoes and a froufrou dog nicknamed 'The Don' along the way. Richard and Jerald told her they wanted to be bigger than Enron, but with better bookkeeping. She's busy making that happen and is working hard to keep them out of jail.

Jackson Lau
Ever the devoted company man, Jackson occasionally leaves his desk to eat, sleep, watch the Houston Rockets on television, or play a little basketball. When he finds free time, he enjoys watching animation, creating animation, reading animation books, or spending an evening out with a beautiful girl while thinking about animation.

Jon Wilsdon
In Americanadian mythology, Jon is best known as being in the pro grammar camp. In the western provinces of Canada and parts of Texas, he is better known as 'fat jonny' for the mythic amount of food he can eat relative to his size.

McKee Frazior
McKee uses his scant free time to peruse his tastes in music, cinema, design and interactive art. One day he hopes that all cute furry animals, be they small or large, carnivore or herbivore, can lay down their claws and become true brothers with their mechanized oppressors.

Iva Kim
YeonJung Kim (Iva) is a Multimedia Artist at Archimage breeding interactive pieces and confusingly hip graphic designs. With her husband/co-worker Sukwon, she has recently completed a 9-month project named “Jun”, also known as "Archie” to the Archimage family.

Edward Lai
Edward is a dedicated artist who has worked his magic for Archimage and Illusion Studio since early 2005. When not working, he uses his free time to read image books, practice his photography, and to watch films in his desperate quest to understand how lighting really works.

James Otermat
James decided early on that he and the sun do not get along. Due to this, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Toledo. This did nothing to help his social life, but it did keep him indoors during the daytime.

Lance Riggs
Known as a chronic daydreamer in his early years, Lance was leading a life of distraction. He spent a lot of his time drawing and doodling. People who saw his work said, "You ought to be an artist!" But, Lance was still too distracted to hear them. And so it went.

Sukwon Shin
At Archimage and Illusion Studio, Sukwon is a character animator, contributing to almost 60 minutes of 3D computer animated cutscenes used in the Archimage's serious games projects. He calls his "Jun" project his greatest achievement and is ready to bring life to his next multimedia creation.

Ramsey Tapia
Ramsey specializes in bootleg music, free software, and stockpiling sandwiches for rainy days. When not hard at work programming, he spends his free time mocking his bosses for their Web 1.0 ways.

Renate Walker
Renate fights against evil with her Office Manager super powers. Her battles are many and never ending: insurance forms, time sheets, invoices, balance sheets, bank statements, and her nemesis ...telemarketers.
