Sukwon Shin received his Master's Degree from the School of Visual Arts where he completed his final
thesis project, an animated short film entitled "Rock the World".
Sukwon's creativity and skill earned him the 31st Student Academy Award for this piece which was also
selected for inclusion in the Siggraph 2004 Electronic Theater. He has also received the New York
foundation of Arts Fellowship Award in 2005. He used his prize to buy a nice notebook.
At Archimage and Illusion Studio, Sukwon is a character animator, contributing to almost 60 minutes of
3D computer animated cutscenes used in the Archimage's serious games projects. Sukwon and his
wife/co-worker Iva have recently completed the 9-month first phase of the highly acclaimed
"Christopher" project (not created on company time). It is one of Sukwon's greatest achievements which will no
doubt give him and his wife endless joy (and sleepless nights).
Sukwon is already contemplating his next project, "Molan", which will serve as a companion to "Jun".
